About Course

Sight loss becomes more common as we get older, so many of us will meet – or become – someone who uses a white cane or a guide dog. This course explains what the different canes mean, including the red and white cane for people who are deafblind, how to offer help in a respectful way, and where people with sight loss can get a cane and training.

This course gives general information. People with sight loss are individuals – always ask what help, if any, they would like. Tutwoo is not connected with RNIB, Blind Veterans UK or Guide Dogs.
