Schizophrenia Awareness: Symptoms, Treatment and Support

About Course

Schizophrenia is a long-term mental health condition that affects how a person thinks, perceives and relates to the world. It is widely misunderstood – it is not a “split personality”, and most people with schizophrenia are not violent. This course uses NHS information to explain the symptoms, causes, treatment and recovery, and how colleagues, carers and employers can offer practical, respectful support.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training written from published official guidance. It does not replace training required for your specific job, and it is not an accredited qualification.
