About Course

Food labels are full of numbers – grams per 100g, per portion, kilocalories and percentages of reference intakes. This course teaches the maths to read them confidently: scaling from 100g to your portion, calculating percentages of reference intakes, comparing products fairly, and using the traffic-light thresholds.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This is a general skills course designed to support everyday and workplace English and maths, with reference to the Department for Education’s Functional Skills subject content. It is not an accredited qualification.
