Sharing the Road With Lorries, Buses and Long Vehicles: A Refresher for Drivers

About Course

Lorries, buses, coaches and vehicles towing trailers need more space, take longer to stop and have large blind spots. This refresher uses the Highway Code to explain how to stay out of their blind spots, give them room to turn, overtake them safely and give buses priority when they pull out.

This course is a general refresher based on the Highway Code for England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland has its own Highway Code with similar rules.
