Many of us passed our driving test decades ago, and road signs have moved on since then. This refresher explains the simple system behind UK traffic signs – shapes and colours – then looks at speed limit signs and newer signs you may now meet, such as variable speed limits, 20 mph zones and bus gates.

This course is a general refresher on UK traffic signs. Always follow the signs and road markings you see, and check the latest Highway Code.
