About Course

What are the real chances of winning a lottery jackpot, and what do betting odds such as 5/1 actually mean? This course uses everyday examples to explain probability as fractions, decimals and percentages, how to convert betting odds into probabilities, expected value, and common misconceptions such as the gambler’s fallacy.
