About Course

Revise the motorway rules topic of the car theory test: who may use motorways, joining and leaving, lane discipline, signals and red X closures, hard shoulders and emergency areas, and what to do if you break down. Based on Highway Code rules 253–279, with worked examples. Ends with a timed 15-question practice test at the real test’s pace and pass standard.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the DVLA, the Department for Transport or any test provider. All questions are original practice questions written by Tutwoo from the Highway Code and Know Your Traffic Signs – they are not taken from DVSA’s revision question bank or the real test. This course covers the multiple-choice part of the car theory test only; the hazard perception part is a separate video-based test. Book your real theory test only through GOV.UK (gov.uk/book-theory-test; in Northern Ireland, through nidirect).
