Powder Coating Safety: Coating Powders, Booths & Cleaning

About Course

Coating powders can cause occupational asthma, skin irritation and allergic dermatitis, and some contain particularly hazardous curing agents and pigments. Based on HSE guidance for employers and employees, this course explains the health risks, booth extraction standards, safe spraying and cleaning methods, the right RPE and good hygiene.

This course gives general awareness of powder coating health risks based on HSE guidance. It does not replace a COSHH or DSEAR assessment, LEV examination, RPE fit testing or occupational health advice.
