About Course
Mediation is a voluntary, confidential way to repair working relationships with the help of a neutral person. This course explains when mediation works best, how a typical mediation runs, the role of the mediator, and how it fits with grievance and disciplinary procedures, based on Acas guidance.
This course gives general information about employment and equality law in Great Britain as at October 2026. It is not legal advice. Northern Ireland has separate legislation. Laws and guidance change, so check the official sources listed, contact Acas, or take professional advice before acting in a specific case.
