About Course
Many shops, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets employ 16 and 17-year-olds. This course explains the Licensing Act 2003 rule that under-18s must not sell or supply alcohol unless each sale is specifically approved by a responsible adult, the table-meal exception, and the practical systems that keep young staff and the business on the right side of the law in England and Wales.
This course gives general information about licensing law in England and Wales. It is not legal advice; check your premises licence conditions and seek advice where needed.
