Suspected Spinal Injury: First Aid Awareness

Wishlist Share

About Course

A fall from height, a diving accident or a road collision can damage the spine, and moving the casualty the wrong way could make it worse. This course explains how to recognise a possible spinal injury, keep the head and neck still, call for help, and – crucially – why breathing and CPR always come first.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This is first aid awareness training based on published NHS, Resuscitation Council UK and St John Ambulance guidance. It is not a practical first aid qualification and does not meet the training requirements for workplace first aiders. In an emergency, call 999.
