About Course
Risk assessment is the foundation of health and safety at work. This course explains what the law requires, the difference between a hazard and a risk, and how to carry out a simple, effective risk assessment using HSE’s five steps: identify hazards, assess the risks, control the risks, record your findings and review the controls.
It is suitable for managers, supervisors, small business owners, health and safety representatives and anyone asked to help with risk assessments.
The course ends with a timed assessment. You need 80% to pass and can review every answer when you finish.
