About Course
Race discrimination is unlawful at every stage of work. This course explains what ‘race’ means under the Equality Act 2010, the main forms of race discrimination, how to handle ‘banter’ and complaints, and practical steps such as action plans, data and planned ethnicity pay gap reporting.
This course gives general information about equality law in Great Britain and is not legal advice. Northern Ireland has separate race relations legislation.
