Vehicle runaways – lorries, trailers, vans and plant that move when they should be parked – cause serious and fatal injuries, often to the driver. HSE says they are preventable. This course explains the main causes and controls, including the dangerous habit of using a semi-trailer’s emergency brake as a parking brake.
