About Course
HSE says nail gun incidents appear in high numbers in its woodworking accident statistics. This toolbox-style course explains the types of nail gun, how firing modes and nose safety devices work, the five ways people are typically hurt, and the training, PPE and maintenance practices that prevent injuries.
This course gives general awareness of nail gun safety based on HSE guidance. It is not a substitute for practical training on the specific tool and the manufacturer’s instructions.
