About Course
Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling are part of almost every job, and they are one of the most common causes of injury at work. This course explains the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, how to assess manual handling risks using TILE, and safe techniques for lifting and moving loads.
It is suitable for workers in warehouses, retail, construction, cleaning, hospitality, offices and care settings (for moving people, see our separate Moving & Handling People course).
The course ends with a timed assessment. You need 80% to pass and can review every answer when you finish.
