About Course
Lifting equipment and lifting accessories must be thoroughly examined by a competent person at set times. This course explains when examinations are due, how often they are needed, what the written report must cover, and what employers must do when a defect is found.
This course gives general information about LOLER thorough examinations in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is not legal advice and does not make you a competent person to examine lifting equipment. Always follow the current regulations, HSE or HSENI guidance and your examiner’s reports.
