Knocked-Out & Broken Teeth: First Aid Awareness

About Course

A knocked-out adult tooth is a dental emergency – acting in the first half hour gives the best chance of saving it. This course explains how to handle and replant an adult tooth, why baby teeth must not be put back, how to store a tooth, what to do with chipped and broken teeth, and where to get urgent dental care.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This is first aid awareness training based on published NHS, Resuscitation Council UK and St John Ambulance guidance. It is not a practical first aid qualification and does not meet the training requirements for workplace first aiders. In an emergency, call 999.
