About Course
Based on the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) guidance for children and young people’s settings, this course covers how infections spread in schools and nurseries, everyday prevention such as hand and respiratory hygiene and cleaning, safe handling of spills, nappies and toileting, and how long children and staff should stay away with common infections.
This course gives general awareness of UKHSA guidance for settings in England. It is not medical advice. Follow your setting’s policies and advice from your local health protection team.
