About Course
Hot weather and hot working environments can quickly make people ill. Learn to recognise heat exhaustion, how to cool someone down, the signs of heatstroke – a medical emergency – and how to protect people at higher risk, including older people, young children and those with long-term conditions.
This course provides first aid awareness only. It does not replace practical, hands-on first aid training from a qualified provider, does not make you a qualified first aider and does not meet workplace first aid training requirements on its own. Always call 999 (or 112) in an emergency and follow your organisation’s procedures.
