About Course

Groundwork, demolition and refurbishment can expose workers to harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi – from Weil’s disease and tetanus to diseases from bird droppings and, rarely, anthrax in old plaster or contaminated land. This course explains where the risks are and the hygiene, PPE, RPE and vaccination controls HSE recommends.
