About Course
Gout is a type of arthritis that causes sudden, severe joint pain – often in the big toe. This course explains what causes gout, who is at risk, what triggers attacks, NHS self-care advice during an attack, treatment and long-term prevention, and when an attack needs urgent help.
Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published NHS and charity information. It is not medical advice, does not replace training required for your job, and is not an accredited qualification.
