Financial Abuse of Adults: Safeguarding for Care Staff

Wishlist Share

About Course

Financial abuse is one of the most common forms of abuse of adults with care and support needs, and it is often hidden. This course helps care and support staff recognise financial and material abuse – including scams and misuse of a power of attorney – keep their own practice safe, and report concerns to the right place.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published SCIE and UK government guidance. It does not replace your organisation’s safeguarding procedures or the training required for your role, and it is not an accredited qualification. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
