About Course

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is a lifelong condition caused by exposure to alcohol before birth. It is often hidden and misunderstood as “bad behaviour”. This course explains what FASD is, how it affects learning, behaviour and health, how it is diagnosed, how to support children and adults with FASD, and how it can be prevented.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published NHS and charity information. It is not medical advice, does not replace training required for your job, and is not an accredited qualification.
