About Course
Dismissing someone is a serious decision with legal risk. This course explains the five potentially fair reasons for dismissal, what makes a dismissal procedurally fair, automatically unfair reasons, wrongful dismissal and notice, constructive dismissal, and the key changes from the Employment Rights Act 2025, including the six-month qualifying period and removal of the compensation cap from 1 January 2027. It focuses on Great Britain.
Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course gives general information about dismissal in Great Britain, checked against Acas guidance and legislation in October 2026. It is not legal advice.
