Eye Injuries First Aid Awareness

About Course

Eye injuries range from a speck of dust to a chemical splash or penetrating injury that threatens sight. Learn what to do in the first minutes – including how to irrigate a chemical splash – what never to do, when to call 999, and how to prevent eye injuries at work and at home.

This course provides first aid awareness only. It does not replace practical, hands-on first aid training from a qualified provider, does not make you a qualified first aider and does not meet workplace first aid training requirements on its own. Always call 999 (or 112) in an emergency and follow your organisation’s procedures.
