About Course
People with Down’s syndrome are individuals first, with their own personalities, abilities, interests and goals. Learn what Down’s syndrome is, the health conditions that are more common, why regular health checks matter – including for early dementia – and how to support people to communicate, make choices and live independent, fulfilling lives.
This course provides general awareness only. It does not replace clinical assessment, training from a qualified professional, or your organisation’s policies and procedures, and it is not an accredited qualification. If someone is seriously unwell, call 999.
