About Course
Covert administration means giving someone medicine hidden in food or drink without their knowledge. It is a serious step that is only lawful and appropriate in limited circumstances. This course explains when it may be considered, how decisions must be made, and how to give, record and review covert medicines safely.
Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published regulator and NHS guidance. It does not replace your employer’s medicines policy, the training and competency checks required for your role, or advice from a prescriber or pharmacist, and it is not an accredited qualification.
