Chickenpox Awareness

About Course

Chickenpox is common and usually mild in children, but it can be serious for newborn babies, pregnant people and anyone with a weakened immune system. This course covers the signs and stages of chickenpox, how long it is infectious, when to stay away, safe home care, when to get urgent help, and the NHS chickenpox (MMRV) vaccine.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published NHS and UK Health Security Agency information. It is not medical advice and does not replace your organisation’s infection control policies or the training required for your role, and it is not an accredited qualification.
