About Course
Firefighters do far more than fight fires – they rescue people from road collisions and floods, deal with hazardous materials and work in communities to prevent fires. This course explains the role, full-time and on-call options, entry requirements, the selection process and career progression in UK fire and rescue services.
Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general careers information drawing on National Careers Service job profiles. Requirements and processes vary between fire and rescue services – always check the service you want to join.
