About Course

Repetitive arm and hand work on production lines, packing benches, checkouts and in food processing can cause upper limb disorders. HSE’s Assessment of Repetitive Tasks (ART) tool helps you find and prioritise the risk factors. This course explains when to use ART, how each stage is scored, how the exposure score is calculated and how to act on the results.
