About Course

When a shape is enlarged, lengths, areas and volumes do not all grow by the same amount. This GCSE Higher course explains the length, area and volume scale factors (k, k² and k³), how to work backwards from an area or volume ratio, and how to apply the rules to real problems such as paint, capacity and mass.
