About Course
Aphasia affects a person’s ability to speak, understand, read or write – but not their intelligence. It most often follows a stroke. This course explains what aphasia is, its causes and signs, how speech and language therapy helps, and practical communication techniques for carers, colleagues and families.
Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published NHS and charity information. It is not medical advice, does not replace training required for your job, and is not an accredited qualification.
