Wishlist Share

About Course

Restaurants, cafés, takeaways, delis and bakeries must tell customers about the 14 allergens in non-prepacked food. In 2025 the Food Standards Agency (FSA) published best practice guidance recommending written allergen information supported by a conversation. This course explains the legal minimum, the best practice approach, distance selling, ‘may contain’ statements and how to keep information accurate.

This course provides general awareness of FSA guidance for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It does not replace your allergen management procedures or advice from your local authority.
