Asbestos Surveys: Management vs Refurbishment & Demolition

About Course

An asbestos survey is the starting point for managing asbestos safely – but the wrong type of survey, or a poor one, can leave hidden asbestos to be disturbed. This course explains the difference between management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys, how to choose a competent surveyor, and how to check and use the survey report.

This course gives general awareness of asbestos surveys. It does not qualify anyone to survey for, sample or work with asbestos. Always use competent, preferably UKAS-accredited, surveyors and follow current regulations and HSE or HSENI guidance.
