Cuts & Grazes: First Aid Awareness

Wishlist Share

About Course

Most cuts and grazes are minor and can be treated at home, but some need urgent medical care, stitches or a tetanus injection. This course explains NHS first aid for cuts and grazes – stopping bleeding, cleaning and dressing – the signs of infection, and exactly when to get urgent advice or call 999.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This is general first aid awareness based on published NHS and other official guidance. It is not a practical first aid qualification and does not replace hands-on training or advice from a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.
