About Course

Sunburn is skin damage caused by too much sun. Most sunburn can be treated at home, but some people need urgent advice, and sunburn increases the risk of skin cancer. This course covers NHS first aid for sunburn, the warning signs that need NHS 111, and practical sun safety for adults, children and babies.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This is general first aid awareness based on published NHS and other official guidance. It is not a practical first aid qualification and does not replace hands-on training or advice from a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.
