About Course

Lymphoedema is long-term swelling caused by a problem with the lymphatic system, often after cancer treatment. Untreated, it can worsen and lead to repeated skin infections. This course explains the types and causes of lymphoedema, its symptoms, how it is treated, how to recognise cellulitis, and how carers can support good skin care, compression and movement.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published NHS and charity information. It is not medical advice, does not replace training required for your job, and is not an accredited qualification.
