About Course

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the irregular heart rhythm that raises the risk of blood clots and stroke. Many people have no symptoms at all. This course explains what AF is, who is at risk, the symptoms, when to call 999, how AF is diagnosed and treated, and how to support someone living with AF – including people taking anticoagulant medicines.

Tutwoo is an independent learning provider. This course is general awareness training based on published NHS and charity information. It is not medical advice, does not replace training required for your job, and is not an accredited qualification.
