Ammonium Nitrate Fertiliser: Safe Storage, Handling & Security

Wishlist Share

About Course

Ammonium nitrate fertiliser is safe when stored and handled properly, but it is an oxidiser that can intensify fires, give off toxic fumes and, if contaminated or heated, explode. It is also a target for theft. This course covers HSE’s storage guidance, separation distances, spillage, fire, notification duties and security.
