About Course
Group A streptococcus (Strep A) usually causes mild illnesses such as sore throats, impetigo and scarlet fever, but rarely it causes serious invasive infection. This course explains how to recognise scarlet fever on all skin tones, when children and staff should stay away, how to reduce spread, and the warning signs of invasive group A strep (iGAS).
