Inert Gases & Oxygen Depletion: Nitrogen, Argon, CO2 & Cryogenic Liquids

About Course

Nitrogen, argon, helium and carbon dioxide are used every day in welding, laboratories, food packaging, drinks dispense, cold storage and fire suppression. They have no warning smell, and a leak can displace oxygen so quickly that people collapse without noticing. This course explains how oxygen depletion happens, where the risk arises, and the controls, monitoring and rescue rules HSE expects.
