Since 18 November 2025, identity verification has been a legal requirement for company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) in the UK. This course explains who must verify, how to do it, the personal code, timings for existing and new directors and PSCs, the consequences of not verifying, and how to protect yourself from scams.
