About Course
Hot spells are becoming more frequent in the UK. This course follows UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and Department for Education advice to help schools and early years settings in England keep children and staff safe in hot weather – from heat-health alerts and keeping classrooms cool, to sun protection, PE and recognising heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
This course provides general awareness of official advice for settings in England. It is not medical advice. In an emergency call 999, and follow your setting’s first aid and medical conditions policies.
