About Course
A practical fire safety course for schools in England. It explains who the responsible person is, what the fire risk assessment must cover and record since the 2023 changes to the law, and how to plan evacuations that work for every pupil – including disabled pupils, young children, visitors and people in temporary classrooms.
This course provides general fire safety awareness for schools in England. It does not replace a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment by a competent person or advice from your fire and rescue service.
