About Course
Spa pools and hot tubs are a recognised source of Legionnaires’ disease and other infections. Based on HSE’s guidance HSG282, this course covers who has duties – including holiday parks, hotels, hire businesses and showrooms – risk assessment, water treatment targets, routine checks, microbiological sampling, water replacement, cleaning and record keeping.
This course gives general, awareness-level information about UK health and safety law and official guidance. It is not a substitute for employer-specific training, a suitable and sufficient risk assessment for your own workplace, or advice from a competent person, and it is not an accredited qualification. Always check the latest official guidance and follow your organisation’s own procedures.
