About Course
Tuberculosis is a curable bacterial infection, but it can be serious if not treated and still affects thousands of people in the UK. Learn how TB spreads, the difference between latent and active TB, the symptoms to look out for, and how health and care staff can support people through the long course of treatment and reduce stigma.
This course provides general infection prevention awareness only. It does not replace your organisation’s infection prevention and control policies, training from your IPC lead, or advice from your local health protection team, and it is not an accredited qualification.
