About Course

Poisoning can happen at home, at work or in care settings – from medicines, cleaning products, chemicals, plants, alcohol, drugs or carbon monoxide. Learn how to recognise possible poisoning, what to do and what not to do while waiting for help, and how to prevent it.

This course provides first aid awareness only. It does not replace practical, hands-on first aid training from a qualified provider, does not make you a qualified first aider and does not meet workplace first aid training requirements on its own. Always call 999 (or 112) in an emergency and follow your organisation’s procedures.
