Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

About Course

Personal protective equipment protects you when other controls cannot fully remove a risk. This course explains what the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations require, the main types of PPE, how to choose, fit, use, check and store PPE correctly, and why PPE is always the last line of defence.

It is suitable for anyone who uses PPE at work, in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, cleaning, healthcare, laboratories and maintenance, and for supervisors who issue it.

The course ends with a timed assessment. You need 80% to pass and can review every answer when you finish.
